Breathwork - Deep Transformation Through Your Breath

Did you know all the Things you can do with your Breath?

Your breath is your teacher. Your closest ally. The bridge between your body and your mind. The voice for your well-being. The opportunities, playgrounds and learning areas are incredibly diverse. What if I told you that there are over 50 different breathing techniques, all of which can affect us differently? Our breath is such a powerful tool and so simple at the same time. We have forgotten how important it is to us and the role it plays in our healing processes.

"To regain our creativity, we need to relearn how to breathe."

Dan Brulé

What is Breathwork?

Breathwork is the use of your breath for healing and growth of body, mind and spirit. You explore completely new depths of your consciousness through engaging with the breath, transforming your spirit and developing yourself personally, strengthening your connection to yourself and your insights in the process.

The general term Breathwork includes breath awareness as well as breathing techniques ranging all the way to tranformative breathing methods.

Part of my work focuses on Conscious Connected Breathwork. In this method, the body enters a unique state of being. By balancing the stimulation of our central nervous system (sympathetic and parasympathetic), tension can be released from your physical, mental and emotional body. Breathwork has been used for years in martial arts, (trauma) therapy, medicine, yoga, military, vocal training, drug rehabilitation and many other fields.

Is Breathwork Right For You?

If you want to overcome emotional blockages, release tension, stress and trauma from your cells and grow beyond yourself, Breathwork is a wonderful tool for you to use to support your growth and healing. Breathwork helps you get more in touch with yourself and mobilize your own resources. You might discover and learn a lot about yourself through working with your own life force.

What are the Contraindications for this Work?

If you have a certain condition such as bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, heart disease, high blood pressure or eye disease (e.g. glaucoma or detachment of the retina), Breathwork should not be practiced as it may increase the symptoms. If you are pregnant or have asthma, it is possible to practice Breathwork in a very gentle way.  Please note that Conscious Connected Breathwork is not a medical practice. In any case, please consult a doctor first.

I offer regular one-on-one and group sessions. Are you interested in an individual breath session or breath coaching? Then feel free to use the contact form.

"Our body holds all the information it gathers and experiences. Our breathing, through conscious training, can help us break old patterns and overwrite the information in our bodies."

Do you have a particular issue that you need a new perspective on? Are you facing a big decision that is putting you under pressure? Then Breathwork can help you reconnect with yourself and find a new, fresh perspective. Experience and science has also shown that this method is an effective support, especially in cases of stress and anxiety. After stressful and severe experiences Breathwork can help us to find more lightness and support us in processing what we have experienced.
